O autor alugou no dia 28/09/1907 com a empresa Estivadora o vapor Itália para carregar café. Porém, o vapor fez água no dia 29/09/1907, causando a avaria de 675 sacas de café. O suplicante requer a vistoria e o arbitramento. Procedente o pedido do autor, o juiz expediu mandado de levantamento dos valores depositados aos cuidados de Manoel Henrique Figueiredo, no entanto, este foi intimado a entregar, mas não há registros desta entrega.
