O autor, capitão da escuna Gâmbia, tendo ratificado protesto por avarias causadas por forte temporal no Consulado Português, requer a vistoria da embarcação para que se estime o valor da indenização. A referida embarcação trazia consigo um carregamento de sal e foi rebocada pelo vapor inglês Dart. São citados: o Código Comercial, artigo 772; e o Decreto nº 19910 de 23/04/1931. O processo foi julgado perempto em 1931 por não pagamento de taxa judiciária no prazo estabelecido no Decreto nº 19910 de 23/04/1931 prorrogado pelo Decreto nº 20032 de 25/05/1931 e o Decreto nº 20105 de 13/06/1931.
