Tratava-se de um pedido de arquivamento de um inquérito policial referente à cédula falsa no valor de 10$000. A tal cédula foi apresentada à Caixa de Amortização por Joaquim Augusto Rodrigues, funcionário da tesouraria da Light and Power. Não foi possível descobrir a procedência da cédula. O juiz Olympio de Sá homologou o arquivamento do inquérito. Auto de Exame de Cédula, 1924; Termo de Exame de cédula, Caixa de Amortização, Seção do Papel Moeda, 1923.
