A 08/04/1936 faleceu o guarda-chaves e manobreiro chefe Avelino Augusto, funcionário da Estrada de Ferro Central do Brasil. O acidente de trem causou morte por esmagamento entre dois vagões na Estação Marítima. Instaurou-se inquérito policial. Foi deferido o requerido. Auto de Exame; Procuração Tabelião Eugenio Luiz Muller Rua do Rosário, 11 - RJ, 1936; Certidão de Nascimento; Decreto nº 24637 de 10/7/1934, artigo 54, 55 e 56.
